115k Central Methodist Church, Saltergate, Chesterfield Located only metres from the installation seen on the previous page stands the Methodist Church building, complete with three GEC Z5590 lanterns fitted to ornate curved brackets installed above each of the doors. The lanterns are in good condition for their age, with only minor noticeable discolouration to their polycarbonate bowls.

Although probably identical when new, part of the scrollwork to the nearest bracket is nowadays missing.

The lanterns all appear to run an elliptical discharge lamp of some repute; the actual type is unknown.

The normally unpainted aluminium canopies are painted here, in order to blend in with the paintwork applied to the bracketry.
