117. Church Walk, Wirksworth On the footpath surrounding the church of St Mary the Virgin are a number of Revo 'Moseley' cast iron columns, three of which are fitted with Phosco P109 lanterns running 125W MBF lamps.  Owing to the narrow width of the footpath, access to the lanterns is limited, and so the long-term plan is to replace the existing lanterns with new 'heritage' lanterns, each running a 55W QL lamp. The hope is that the usual long lives of these lamps should mean that the lanterns will not require as many visits as they had previously. Three of the lanterns have been replaced already - I am quite impressed with the results.
