132. Park Road, Newhall Located south of the Woodview Road junction is a GEC Z9540 90W SOX (originally for 140W SO/H / SOI/H lamps) lantern attached to a sleeved Stanton 8 concrete column. Unusually, both the lantern and sleeve were originally installed on another column in Derbyshire but were then fitted to this column when the original was no longer required. The other columns along this part of the road are fitted with Philips MA 90s and more modern sleeves, making this installation unique along the road. The lantern is not fitted with a photocell; instead an all-night time switch is installed in the column base.
