24. Ockbrook. Most of the columns around here are the original gas ones, as made in Derby. These were cast by the Phoenix foundry, and all must be well over 100 years old. Swan necks and control boxes have been added since their installation, to accommodate electric lighting, most probably ESLAs at first, followed by Beta 5s in the 1980s. The finials have not been removed, and so the lanterns are all top entry.
This example has a Revo control box, and the Beta 5 has an RTE Oasis 1000 photocell installed.
