26. WRTL Arc Photographed on Sunday, 18th April 2010 on Wells Road in Mickleover.
What I think happened: The bowl on this lantern is broken, although only on one side. A heavy object may therefore have been thrown at the lantern in an attempt to break the lamp - this must have taken some effort, as polycarbonate is a particularly tough plastic, especially when up at 6M. A replacement lantern was duly fitted at some point between Monday, 19th and Friday, 23rd April - all thanks to me, of course!
Pictures:
An anti-glare shield is fitted to the column, in order to reduce backspill to the windows of adjacent properties.
The lantern is not missing its photocell - the Arcs specified for this scheme were ordered with minicells.
Ouch!
