Derby's Street Lighting PFI Contract
Drysdale Road, Mickleover
The columns being removed on this road were:
| Seq. No. | Lamp Number | Location | Lamp Type | Watt | Isolation Point |
| 1 | 27015 | OS NO 1 | SXPL3 | 35 | |
| 2 | 27016 | OS NOS 7/9 | SXPL3 | 35 | |
| 3 | 27017 | O/S NOS 15/17 | SXPL3 | 35 | |
| 4 | 27018 | OS NO 14 | SXPL3 | 35 | |
| 5 | 27019 | OS NO 22 | SXPL3 | 35 |
The following photographs were taken on the 4th April 2010 - Easter Sunday.
As with most of the installations on the 'Silverhill' Estate, many of the outgoing columns supported Philips MI 26 lanterns, following conversions from 80W MBF in the 1990s.
A Thorn Beta 5 can be seen on the left; this would have replaced a failed MI 26 in the early 2000s.
No, this installation was not possessed by some supernatural being living in the evergreen tree - this is actually what happens when rain lands on your camera lens and you don't realise at the time!
The new columns are approximately 8M in above-ground height.
