Local Kingswood Precincts

This Precinct is installed on a plinth in Arboretum Square and runs an Iwasaki 110W SON-E lamp - this type of lamp works with European 125W mercury gear. Thanks to a number of photographs taken of this area in the past, I am able to say what other lanterns have been installed here in years gone by - details available here. In its day, this was one of Derby's most prestigious areas...sadly things have changed a bit now, and many of the grand Victorian buildings are in a poor state of repair.
