Ascending London Underground"s last-remaining wooden escalator at Greenford station. Sadly, this relic from 1947 was decommissioned in March 2014 in preparation for the station"s move towards step-free access by 2015. As well as a train of the Central line"s own fleet of 1992 Stock arriving once platform level is reached, a First Great Western Class 165 Turbo awaits departure from the central bay platform.
