If you wish to contact me, please do, but if you have never contacted me before, please read the following 'rules' carefully before doing so:

1. I am not a supplier or distributor of any street lighting equipment. If you are after a specific piece of street lighting equipment, contact one or more of the wholesalers listed on the Equipment Sales page. Replacement photocells and time switches can be obtained from Incatron. They also repair faulty units.

2. I do not work for a street lighting maintenance team - again, contact your local council if you have faults to report, or alternatively, submit a report at www.fixmystreet.com .

3. Please start messages with a greeting, and please 'sign off' messages as well - your own name will suffice. This is simply to reduce the risk of your message being regarded as Spam by my computer, and is also courteous. Subject lines should be filled in to further reduce the possibility of messages being treated as Spam.

4. If sending photographs, please send them in the .JPG format; and of a size no greater than 640x480 pixels to speed up download time. If a photograph needs to be larger than this, please contact me before sending it. E-mails that are over 10MB in size are likely to be deleted without being seen, so please avoid large messages if you want your messages to be read!

5. I do not have statistics for the number of streetlights in the UK, however this page may provide a figure.

6. Under no circumstances should any material on this site be copied across to other sites (including web-based discussion forums) without my prior permission. If you wish to use anything displayed on here, please discuss any requests with me. I run this site purely as a hobby, and a great deal of time and energy is spent on putting it together. Using (stealing) material from this site without my permission is highly disrespectful.

7. I am not a member of any "social networking" websites, and have no intention of changing this situation, so please do not send me requests asking to join. Any people already signed up to these websites, who happen to share my name, are definitely not me.
