If you wish to contact me, please do, but if you have never contacted me before, please read the following 'rules' carefully before doing so:

1. I am not a supplier or distributor of any street lighting equipment - if you are after a specific lantern, get in touch with the manufacturer (there are many links to manufacturers' websites on my Links page) or contact your street lighting department/contractor at your local council. Replacement photocells and time switches can be obtained from Incatron. They also repair faulty units.

2. I do not work for a street lighting maintenance team - again, contact your local council if you have faults to report, or alternatively, submit a report at www.fixmystreet.com .

3. Please start messages with a greeting ('Mike' will do), and please 'sign off' messages as well - your own name will suffice. This is simply to reduce the risk of your message being regarded as Spam by my computer. Subject lines should be filled in to further reduce this possibility.

4. If sending photographs, please send them in the .JPG format; and of a size no greater than 640x480 pixels to speed up download time. If a photograph needs to be larger than this, please contact me before sending it. E-mails that are over 10MB in size are likely to be deleted without being seen, so please avoid large messages if you want your messages to be read!

5. I do not have statistics for the number of streetlights in the UK, however this page may provide a figure.

6. Under no circumstances should any material on this site be copied across to other sites without my prior permission. If you wish to use anything displayed on here, please discuss any requests with me.
