Off Longmoor Lane, Breaston, Erewash, Derbyshire With thanks to AgentHalogen_87 for informing me of these Survivors. Attached to the industrial building constructed originally for the W.H. Paul engineering company in 1949 are two shovel-type floodlights. Despite the Paul company parting company with the Breaston site in 1975, and the buildings being taken over subsequently by different companies, the site remained occupied until 2021, but now stands disused and abandoned, awaiting redevelopment. Both of the floodlights ran high wattage (250 - 400 Watt) MBF (mercury vapour) lamps, but may have run the earlier 'MA'-type mercury lamps originally.

The two floodlights are visible in this view - both are positioned adjacent loading bays.

The first fitting faces towards Longmoor Lane itself.

A rather grimy 400 Watt MBF lamp is fitted here. The disc-shaped aluminium reflector behind the lamp is corroded heavily.

The second floodlight is around the corner. Despite resembling the Benjamin Duoflux, these shovel floodlights are more angular in design, and could be Revo Adjustafloods, according to fellow collector LeoLampposts. A patent number (possibly, 503553, although this does not yield any results) exists on the top aluminium casting. The smashed remains of another MBF lamp can just be seen within the floodlight.
