Church Street, Coton-in-the-Elms, South Derbyshire Attached to a wooden pole at the northern end of this small village is a refurbished Revo pole bracket that, today, supports a GEC Z9491 - the version of the Z9481 with the lamp control gear being located within the lantern itself. If any control gear does remain in the lantern, however, it will no longer be operational, as a 20 Watt Venture Re-SOX LED lamp is now fitted in place of the previous 35 Watt SOX (low pressure sodium) lamp, though the lantern is old enough to have run 60 Watt SO/H / SOI/H and 40 Watt SOX lamps in its time. It is not original to this location, as Google Street View imagery indicates that a Thorn Beta 5 was installed here formerly (itself being a replacement for the original lantern that would have run a GLS (incandescent tungsten filament) lamp), and may have been used on Walton Road, Drakelow prior to that lighting scheme being deactivated and removed.
Both the lantern and bracket are painted dark Brunswick Green.
The small circular box bearing the Revo Tipton name would have served as the original fuse box for this bracket; this has since been superseded by a modern Henley cut-out positioned below. Around the side of the pole is a NEMA photocell bracket with a Zodion SS9-DLS part-night photocell fitted.
